Call for papers – Service Management; Superheroes of the World (ENGLISH VERSION)

An invitation to present a paper at the itSMF Conference. Join us from 12 to 14 April for the ITIL festival at the Clarion Hotel Oslo Airport!

The world around us is changing. ITIL has become part of everyday life at Norwegian IT organisations. Parts of the Norwegian business community are currently undergoing restructuring, and an ever-increasing number of IT organisations are having to meet stricter levels of requirements when it comes to the delivery of cost-effective IT operations systems. By using the title ”SuperHeroes of the World”, we want to show you the superheroes you can call on to deliver cost-effective IT services!

As well as ”cost-effective IT services", we will also be focusing on how we as IT organisations can deliver positive user experiences in the field of Service Management. For this reason we are putting the spotlight on CX – methods, approaches and technologies in the field of Service Management. How can we in the IT community offer positive user experiences that give us a head start in a competitive global market? How can we provide positive service experiences?

In the face of greater demands for cost-effective IT products, large parts of Norwegian IT departments have now been outsourced – often to suppliers based in India. How do we control, measure and follow up IT products from many different outsourcers? How do we get to grips with cultural differences between companies and, finally, how do we measure our improvement?

So we're looking for some success stories about how efficient operations have been achieved with the assistance of Service Management. Success stories about processes/interfaces, methods, mindsets and technologies will be most welcome.

At the 2016 conference we will naturally also make sure that you are fully updated on all the news in connection with the ITIL framework, LEAN, Cobit, DEVOPS and much, much more. So don't worry about missing out on professional refreshment in the field of Service Management!

We're particularly on the lookout for examples of users’ experiences. Our delegates don't just want to hear success stories, but also about projects that didn't go so well – as long as we can learn some lessons from them. Send us your suggestion today!

“We're not interested in theoretical presentations – we care about our delegates”.
